How payment works#
You pay a refundable deposit of $500 to start. The balance is due only once your panel is live. If your panel never appears, the balance is never due.
What counts as live#
- Live
- Your Knowledge Panel is live when it shows your correct name, photo and profession or role in an ordinary Google search for the agreed name, in the agreed country. We confirm it with three checks across 14 days and send you a screenshot.
Claiming your panel with Google is optional, and the panel counts as delivered either way.
When the 150 days start#
On the date of your onboarding call. We confirm that date to you in writing.
If your panel isn't live by day 150#
You choose one of two options:
A full refund
of everything you've paid. We return it within 10 business days to your original payment method.
Continued work at no charge
until your panel appears. The balance becomes due only once it does.
If you choose continued work, you can still switch to a full refund later, as long as you tell us before day 240.
Before you're onboarded#
If you change your mind before your onboarding call, we refund your deposit in full.
After onboarding, before day 150#
If you cancel after onboarding and before your panel is live, we refund your deposit minus $150 for the digital footprint audit already delivered, and you keep the audit.
What the guarantee covers#
The guarantee covers the Knowledge Panel only.
What it doesn't cover#
AI answers.
ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google's AI features decide their own answers. We report on your presence in AI answers, and we don't guarantee any recommendation, mention, lead or ranking.
What Google shows once the panel is live.
Google decides which facts appear and can change them. If your panel drops after delivery, we rebuild it at no extra charge if it drops within 12 months of going live.
Delays on your side.
If you take longer than 5 business days to approve content or make an update only you can make, the 150 days extend by the same number of days.
Changes you make.
Edits you make to your profiles that contradict your approved content.
Information you ask us to leave out.
If you ask us not to use certain facts, Google has less to work with, and the guarantee doesn't cover that effect.
Inactivity.
If a project closes under section 12 of our Terms of Service.
The monthly service after 90 days#
Referred by AI can continue monthly after the package. It's month to month. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and the current paid month isn't partly refunded. If we miss work we agreed to deliver that month, we complete it within 14 days or refund that part.
How to ask for a refund#
Email hello@dotvisible.com with your name, the email you used to pay and the date of your onboarding call. We reply within 2 business days.
Your legal rights#
This policy adds to any rights you have under consumer law in your country. It doesn't take them away.
